Installing Printer Driver without the printer

some printers cant be installed without the physical printer connected to the computer which can be very annoying especially when you need to install the drivers in different laptops at different location.

some drivers will allow you to skip the printer detection or you can choose to install without the printer itself but i have come across with hp color laserjet 2600n, it doesnt have an option for you to skip or installing printer manually so what i did was I installed it through "ADD A PRINTER" option in printer/faxes option.

uncheck the plug and play detection and browse the driver from the option. you should be able to install the printer driver from there.

BABYLON A.D.

The movie ws started with pretty cool scenes... when i saw the names on the dvd cover(vin diesel and michelle yeoh), i figured out they are quite an interesting combination... i always love them both anyway.... I considered them as actors who dont smile often in their movies and most of the time playing 'cool attitude' but yet I found that quite interesting....

you know, when i started to watch this movie... i have a great expectation of the storyline but as i watched and it brought me to further scenes, i found myself in great curiosity which i thought that was just a trick to keep me in my chair and keep watching.. but as i come closer to the ending, i know there were just too many holes in this movies... probably beyond repair..

Im actually having a funny feeling that this movie was written in between of beer and sky juice(plain water).... coz it's just so mysterious and undoubtly full of questions, it comes from nowhere and goes nowhere.. like you trying to solve a puzzle with pieces completely out of shapes from each other and where there is no possible connection. the deeper the story, the more you are confused.... too bad, the actions were great, but the plot was soo pathetic and ridiculous, especially the ending part.. I should get paid watching this movie.

the only time that i probably laughed a little was when toorop(vin diesel) met with sister Rebeka(michelle yeoh) and utter their agreement which as usual vin diesel the only actor i think who doesnt talk much and could sum up lengthy explanations in simple sentence like "Dont F*** with me" and meant it.

I still do not know which category this movie should be in, with combinations of too advanced technologies which makes you wonder if it's really exist(you wont bother to find out if the movie was great no matter how ridiculous the gadgets are), but the storyline probably so badly written that you found yourself too busy to criticize on its weaknesess rather than trying to check if you have missed those technologies in the latest market. I dont even think i have any idea about the exact time period...

closer to the ending, though entertained with some pretty considered interesting action stuffs, rather than being 'enlightened', i found myself falling deeper into the darkness... then it was not so funny anymore..

i was actually looking intently at the timing hoping that it's still long enough for explanations.. i didnt even blink my eyes in case i missed the clue..

i tried to move the movie slide backward, left to the right and so forth praying it stuck somewhere and that's why it jumped into the end track.. but there was NONE.

when i saw the black screen and all the actors name appeared, i know it's time to save someone else time to watch this movie..

if you have too much happiness right now or your brain is too free and need some extra processing jobs, i recommend you to watch this movie, it could add up some 'anger' in ur emotion and giving you extra works by googling to find the best spoilers or reviews on the internet.. I bet you would probably settle with even just some gibberish or nonsense made-up conclusions from annoyed fans... hopefully no one would suffer a brain-damaged after watching this movie.... but then if indeed it happened, it would probably completely understandable...

No offence.. just a sincere opinion from me :)

batch file - opening external documents from Flash

Situation: Opening external file from flash interface. For example you use flash interface to run cookingdemo.pdf file.

Solution:

1. to avoid any confusion create one folder to store and save all the files

2. launch your notepad. In the notepad type "start cookingdemo.pdf" (The " " is not part of the command in the notepad).

3. Save it as "launch.bat"

4. Create a folder and named it as "fscommand". Save the "launch.bat" and "cookingdemo.pdf" in this folder.


5. In Flash, find the FSCOMMAND and type fscommand ("exec", "launch.bat");

6. Save this flash file and run it.

I ws speechless when i saw these videos.. How and where it went wrong? All i could say is, no amount of hatred, tears could ever explained this situation.. You could see this trend happening around the world, be it in religions, races or political, maybe not as worse as this for now or could be even worse.. but you could see it's happening.. even in malaysia itself, people keeps lighting up the 'fire', everybody are not satisfied about something, groups keep fighting to each other for their own rights... when things like this happened, nobody really wins.. imagine what the small children have learned from these, HATRED.. it's a never ending story. all i could say is, this world has comes to an end where the word 'LOVE' is no longer understood as what Jesus had taught us... where FREEDOM of religion is a threat to others... and where PRIDE is more important than Humanity..

May God bless you whether you are Christians, Hindus, Muslims, or Buddhists, ... Each of us are precious in God's eyes and He has given each of us the RIGHT to choose whom we want follow..

Installing Canon PIXMA ip1600? (printer driver) without the printer

some printers needed to be plugged on the computer to install the printer driver, I have a problem installing the canon Pixma ip1600 a few times because I wanted to install the printer driver without the printer itself.

whenever I tried to install the printer driver it would always asked me to 'start over' again because it cant detect any plugged printer on the laptop's USB port. (the point is installing the printer driver without the printer itself).

The solution for this problem is instead of choosing 'Express install' select on the 'Custom install'. You can choose to install all the other additional softwares first bundled with this printer and install the 'printer driver' later or whichever goes first, but you have to install the 'printer driver' separately so you would have an option to do 'manual selection' during printer detection. if it cant detect the printer, you can just choose 'manual selection' and it you would skip the detection and install the printer which to be used later.

im very very lazy bloggin and been busy with my work, life blah blah.. the excuses go on. life is just so frustating these days, dont you agree?. everytime you read the newspapers, there s nothing but problems, bad news in there. so i decided to read the chicken soup instead and im so glad i did, it's really inspiring and motivating me that though there are lots of reasons why we get discouraged with this world today but at the same time there are a lot of things which you learn to be thankful and be grateful. most of the time we tend to look more on the negative parts rather than the positive sides of life and that's how we ended up more depressed. sometimes and once in awhile i allow myself to go with the negative flows and when i able to come out from that 'negative world', i could say to myself that 'ive been there' and that would make me more understand others and i myself become wiser and stronger. so you see, not all the negative-way-of-thinking or problems in your life would bring 'bad lucky' for the rest of your life. it's how we use it, how we learn from it and the most of important thing is, that would indeed reminded us that there is God who cares for us. Let us pray for each other, not forgetting each and everyone of us needed encouragement and hope and most importantly, though not being perfect in faith, i would like to say this that indeed the greatest hope and the only hope that we have is our Jesus, Our God and saviour.

Oil price - take a look at the bigger picture

Now that everybody screaming about the fuel price and im sure soon the food prices... take a look at this issue at the bigger picture.

honestly, im not satisfied with the way the government handling this unavoidable situation in terms of the sudden price changes less than 24 hours, the government should had made a gradual changes on the fuel price and not the last 7 hours, be it a week or a month, of course this would cause the rakyat screaming..

Though we say that we are an oil producer but a question u should really ask.. how big are we? based on my readings, i found out that we r just 5% oil producer and which can only sustained for the next 10 years... and the oil price will increase every year globally.. it wont go down. Our country will survive if they learn to adapt with it, and most importantly to deal with it wisely. because no matter how loud u scream to fight with this fuel price.. it wont go down.. and not just in malaysia but globally.

my only suggestions to the government are:

1. to improve the public transportation services which really badly organized since many many years ...

2. Agricultural.. we are considered one of the most blessed countries where we can produce our own food stocks.

3. Tax - reduce taxes.. i dont know how many type of taxes out there but just reduce them!! arghhh...

4. and since we all will be sacrificing something.. the government should really think about "earning" and not just "spending"...

and to my fellow malaysians.. to some of us earning really low incomes (including me of course :P)... and especially living in the city, maybe we should really start to ask ourselves "what we need Vs what we want"...

Voice out your opinions people but dont make things worse.. screaming, cursing wont change anything.. lets cooperate together..start to really know "what we need instead of what we want", change our attitude towards the environment and above all, let's seriously praying and seek God. who knows this is just another sign the end of time... visit www.vop.com - voice of prophesy.
